Transportation system laboratory houses various software and tools that aid in demand-forecasting, design, management, and operation of transportation systems, including traffic simulation software, system analytics software, geographic information system. The lab also has state-of-the-art equipment including In-vehicle synchronous GPS cum Video Logger, high-end traffic data extraction and computation console, etc. The UG students are exposed to these systems as part of a course on Traffic Engineering and they further utilise the lab for doing their B Tech projects.
